Working on a World-Premiere

January 24th to February 8th, 2025

Angelique is thrilled to be working with playwright and screenwriter, Zina Camblin (Wu-Tang: an American Saga) on the world-premiere of her new play, The Guest! The play is a family situational living room comedy, that explores what happens when an adopted bi-racial woman knocks on the door of her Evangelical, right-wing birth mother's home in rural Missouri to get answers about her identity. Dysfunctional family dynamics ensue, and dark secrets are revealed, in this hilarious and timely dark comedy. 

This is the first time Angelique has been a part of a world-premiere like this and she has loved developing the script and her character, Jessica, alongside Zina.
