This is a once-in-a-lifetime kind of show. It's a show that centers Black Femmes and our experiences. It is a show that Angelique will never forget. It is also a show that allowed Angelique to play a Black Woman onstage, a character originally written to be Black: something that she has never done before. Frankie is both so similar to me and so wildly different. She is complex, funny, insecure, a little mean, and contains multitudes. And it is not often that Black characters are like that, that they are allowed to be that. To be difficult and emotional, to deal with mental health, friend, and love issues. To laugh and cry and everything in between.

And then to be surrounded by these hilarious and talented Black women. Angelique has absolutely loved being in the room, working and laughing with Ariel, Jasimine, and A.J every day.
